2nd Lt Brandon Muenzler

2nd Lt Brandon Muenzler has always had a passion for aviation and a fascination for what makes things tick. A native of central Texas, Lt Muenzler attended Texas A&M University, graduating in May 2018 with a B.S. in Zoology. It was during this time that he took his first “Discovery Flight” at Easterwood Airport in College Station, TX. Under Part 61 flight instruction in Abilene, TX, he earned his private pilot certificate in the summer of 2019. After moving to Granbury, Lt Muenzler joined CAP in January 2021 and was appointed as the squadron’s Aerospace Education Officer. It is in this role that he led cadets in their entry into CAP’s inaugural AE High Altitude Balloon Challenge in 2021. He enjoys melding his passion for aviation with his interest in science to provide leadership and furthering the education of cadets.
