Lt. Colonel Floyd Whitehouse
After graduating from college, LtCol Whitehouse was commissioned in the USAF where he spent 11 years on active duty and 19 years in the USAF Reserves. He has over 4400 hours in fighter type aircraft including the F111A/E/F/D models, the F4 C/D/E, the F16 C/D, and under graduate pilot instructor in the T-38. He has served as a fighter squadron commander, vice fighter wing commander as well as STAN/EVAL staff officer, Headquarters US Air Forces Europe, Ramstein AB GE. Additional staff assignments included Mobilization Assistant to the Commander, Air Force Information Warfare Center and retired as Assistant to the North American Air Defense Command (NORAD) Director of Plans and Programs.
In civilian life, LtCol Whitehouse worked for General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin for 27 years where he initially began work in the Advance Design department. He worked on the F-16, F-22, F-35 and numerous derivative initiatives for each of these aircraft. He retired from Lockheed as Technical Director for classified programs on the F-35.
